Drawing guns at gas stations because you had to wait for a long time? Screaming for help? You were not ready for anything? Look I feel sorry for you all, but 911 taught us so much before. We can get caught with our pants down. We have been laughing at people who Prep for years. I bet the people who did are not having a hard time today. Hey I wonder why people worry so much about the end, but the people who have bug out places are warm, have food, and are not fighting in the streets for what they need. Looks like they knew something. Looks like they had a plan. Think about it, they have extra water and food all the time. We were notified three or more days ahead of the storm and that it could be bad. Bottled water and cans of Beef-a-what ever isn't expensive. Most times I buy several can for my lunch every week. It cost me $1 a can. A basic med kit is cheap. Having battery powered radios and lamps are not out of anyone's budget. I feel people are just lazy or think that the other people who plan ahead will help them. i am sure some can. Still if it ends out being a you or me world, well the planners win.
It may not ever be in everyone's budget to build one of these?
Still if it is, maybe it's more important then a boat or summer home?
Maybe at least have this and a plan to leave the
area of the problem if you have to.
Just having this on hand at all times sure is a start.
