Sooraj Panscholi arrested

Sooraj Panscholi, son of Aditya Panscholi, was arrested yesterday evening by the Juhu police for alleged abetting the suicide of Jiah Khan. The arrest came post Jiah's mother, Rabiya, submitted a six-page letter, purportedly written by Jiah, detailing the "difficult relationship" between Jiah and Sooraj. 

Sooraj's arrest has been based on Rabiya's complaint and her statement, while the letter would be treated as an evidence, though there was no mention of the name 'Sooraj' anywhere in the letter. Sooraj has been booked under IPC section 306 of Indian Penal Code.
